If you live in Denver County and want to protest your new 2013 property valuation for next year’s tax payments, here is the new timeline the County is implementing. It gives you from May 1 up to 28 weeks later to protest your new valuation. You must file with the Board of County Commissioners during this 6.5 month period. This is much longer than the previous 30 days period from May 1 to June 1 in which you had to file. Contact the Denver Assessor's Office by clicking here
